Hey everyone!

I haven't seen a thread like this yet, but apologies if one already exists.

What is the status of your 2020 cherokee order?!?!!!

I ordered a trailhawk on 7/11 and am currently in D1 status with an est. ship date of 8/10. I've been following a wrangler build status thread and it seems like some of the new '20 models are already arriving at dealers with many more scheduled to be delivered within the coming week. I know the new MY wranglers started production in late July...anyone know if cherokees started around the same time, or are they starting now in August?? The waiting game sucks, but will be totally worth it!

It would help if Jeep released a spec sheet listing any changes for 2020, but the Jeep website doesn't even acknowledge yet that the 2020 Cherokee exists. And I haven't seen any stories in the auto media about this model either.
Great find. From that same article:

New for 2020:

Advanced Safety Group (Lane Departure Warning-Plus, Forward Collision Warning-Plus, rain-sensing wipers) available on Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited and Overland models
Extending this option to the lower trim levels was expected, since manufacturers are increasingly judged by the level of their safety tech. I predict that on the next-gen Cherokee (2022?), these features will become standard on all trim levels, not just "available." Otherwise, Jeep will fall far behind much of its competition.

Alexa Skill Technology available on Uconnect 4C/4C NAV with 8.4-inch display
I don't use an Amazon Echo, so this is mostly irrelevant to me. However, I wonder if this tech add-on would enhance the ability of Android Auto to interface with Amazon Music. Right now, access to that app is pathetically bad.

Sangria and Spitfire Orange exterior paint colors
Let me guess: Spitfire Orange limited to the Trailhawk, and Sangria broadly available? How different is it from Velvet Red?

Latitude models receive standard 17-inch aluminum wheel
Makes sense, since the optional Latitude appearance package (mainly the wheels) is virtually standard anyway. Every 2019 Latitude on the lot seems to include it. You'd probably have to special-order a Latitude if you wanted the basic steel wheels. But this means that the "plus" factor of the Latitude Plus is smaller than before.

Available 19-inch wheel on Limited model
Good idea. Are they the same wheel design that's on the 2019 Overland and High Altitude (painted gray in the latter case)? I'm not too fond of that one, but in any case it would be nice for the Limited to get something unique.

Ski Grey interior available on Latitude Plus model
Also a good idea. Many people like black interiors, but no one should be forced to accept one. It's amazing how cool the Ski Grey stays in the summer compared to the black.

As anticipated, very little here is truly new.
