Flying up to MD to pick up the Trailhawk. Didn't want to wait the 8 weeks. So found a decent price on the exact model and color I wanted and flying up to pick her up then driving home 800 miles due south!

congrats!!! I wouldve done the same too. I searched for 100 miles in my area, then 500, and good thing i found an exact match w/ all the trimmings i wanted at a local dealer. even though it had 103 miles, dealer gave me 10% off invoice. The color i chose was not even on my list but i'm glad i pulled the trigger on it. Brilliant Black Pearl looks beautiful in the sunlight.

Good for you! You will blow right through the break in period (300 miles), then you can hammer down:)

Only thing I didn't really want was the cold weather package. We dont get ice down here, but guess I could use the seat heat 1 or 2 times a year :).. Wish they had Seat coolers instead or the heat. We have enough heat down here in south florida

Congrats and I did nearly the same thing.....didn't want to order it and a dealer only 50 miles away had one so I just had my wife drive me there.

I live in Southern California and there is not that much need for the cold weather package...however it has been a little chilly lately and the heated steering wheel is great! Anyway the cold weather package will be useful if you drive to a cold climate.:):)

Enjoy the beast. Black is a great color.
