I own a 2014 Jeep Cherokee, Limited 4x4 with action track. It is the two vehicle. I have experienced the "death wobble." I am working with a case manager at FCA who suggested I write to Dearborn, MI. I was told by someone else in the FCA group that (a level 1 staffer) that it never does any good to write them.

Has any one had any luck penetrating the corporate veil and able to access someone to actually pain attention?

Thanks. I don;t really won't to trade the Cherokee or even buy a new/used car, but the wobble is (a) not safe and (b) no fun. I have had the mopar wire kit installed and a trickle charge line installed, had the front-end checked.

Suggestions? Sympathy, empathy?

Thanks.

You can always try, but it will probably go unseen, and unanswered. Big Corporates way of saying "Go Eff Yourself". Weren't you the one with the problem while flat towing? If so, still think it's something to do with EPS. I have a friend whose Trailhawk has more flat towed miles than it's been driven, and he's had no issues with that. The flat tow harness has to be CORRECTLY installed, and be the proper harness to begin with for safe towing. If you have to run a trickle charger, then it's probably not right.

Yes, that is me. I would love to check with your friend about his Trailhawk. I do believe that the EPS has to be "on" and the wiring needs to be right. Will have it doubled check when I take it to the Jeep dealer where I bought the car (six years ago in Lebanon, NH). I would love it if it was installed correctly. Thanks.

EPS must be on, and also it should be maintaining voltage from the tow vehicle. It's all in the system.

Sounds like your system is purely lighting. Is yours using the Cherokee lights in tow, or are you using a separate tag light system, like the tow truck guy uses, ie magnet mounts tied to a cord?
