Things just got weird...

Now you know why you are burning thru batteries the way you are. ;)

If fact, I'm not convinced that the stock batteries are really that bad, it's probably just poor electronics causing a constant parasitic drain on these Jeeps. And only in cases like this does it clearly manifest itself. haha

Well, I had the loaner for 12 days, and they said the part will be available
first week of February! I dropped the loaner off today, picked up the TH
and the weird part is it seems to be working now.

Still something isn't right. While in the garage, the Jeep locked itself. I
didn't touch anything, I just heard "click" and the doors were locked.
I had the key fob with me but wasn't close enough to the Jeep to
activate the locks from the door.

Guess I'll play it by hear, and see how the next few days pan out....

Driver side door

Reading this, I find very interesting. I have a 2015 Jeep Latitude that has an Intermittent drivers door issue with the power lock button and the FOB. Fob will unlock all doors except the driver door and at times lock all the doors but the drivers door and at times work as it should. Also the auto door locks work when driving off but at times will not lock the drivers door.
So quite often I have to use the key to enter the drivers door.
I purchased the vehicle used in April with 30K. Went back to the used car seller with the issue and even though it was a sold as is they have stepped up and tried. Through them the vehicle has been to the Jeep dealer 5 times for this issue. First they replaced the drivers door locking mechanism. Nope. Back to the dealer, the body control module replaced. Nope. Back to the dealer and it's a software problem and reflashed. Nope. Back to the dealer and several days dealing with cooperate. Loose pin in the wiring harness from the door to the body. Nope. Back to the dealer and it must be an interference problem where you park. Are you kidding me, that one just follows me around. Nope. Back to the dealer and they can't replicate the problem. So I pick up the Jeep and as I'm leaving the driver door doesn't auto lock. ARR! I drive home park the car as I only drive it occasionally. I'll just use the key to get in.
I'm thinking that maybe its a broken wire in the loom from the door to the body. Anyone know which wire carries the signal or current to the door lock?
This is happening to many of our jeeps - mine just started last week ( 2019 JC TrailHawk Elite) - mine is exact the same as yours, drivers side doesn't work in only passive entry and neither does the press button key lock - but opens with the fob click! sooo frustrating.

Hey All!

Recently I've been running into an issue in my Trailhawk where unlocking the vehicle via passive entry does not unlock the driver side door. All other doors unlock successfully except the driver side. This does not happen every time I use Passive Entry but it is becoming more common.

If Passive Entry fails and I then try to unlock it using the key fob the driver side door still will not unlock. The only way to unlock the driver's side at this point is to get in through the driver side rear or passenger side door and unlock it manually. Has anyone else experienced anything like this with Passive Entry on their KL?

Thanks!
Im having the same issue, dealer wants to charge me $750 to fix. Wtf

mine is acting up. the mother ship must be sending signals to our cars so that we bring them in for $$$ service. actually I think mine is related to my key fob even tho I've changed the fob battery twice. first 2 months ago, then again this week
