Ordered my wife's Limited on 12/17. Back on 1/12 the dealer told me the ETA was 1/29, but as of a couple days ago it is still at the stage where they say the parts have all been gathered but assembly has not started. Not sure why the progress is slower than with the THs.

My Cherokee Limited was officially ordered 12/30. After repeated frustration with the worthless VOTS system, I contacted customer service. They replied that the VOTS is no longer in use, but were able to tell me that the vehicle was released from the factory on January 29, and the dealer expects it to arrive this coming week :)

Funny that you ordered yours almost two weeks after I did but it was released a day before ours. Just curious, what are the details/options of your JC?

As of the 5th ours was on the truck heading to my dealer. They should get it in the next day or two.

Our vehicles are probably on the same carrier. Mine is delivering to New Holland Auto Group, Lancaster County. My specs are below in my signature.

I LOVE that blue/brown interior. Wish they had had it with my granite exterior.
You are going to be VERY glad you got the xenon headlights and the 9 speaker radio.
Good work.

Now I am jealous. I went with the beige frost leather as well, can't wait to see it.

The beige frost leather is interesting; I have it. It shows up in almost all photos as almost white - disturbingly so. In reality is a much better looking tan -- not too different from what you see in a light tan raincoat or in some BMWs. It's very good looking and relatively rare, which I also like. I looked at the list of Cherokees at my dealer recently, and he seems to order the black interior on every Cherokee where it is available. (I was also surprised at how almost every Trialhawk he orders comes with the 4 cyl. --- very few 6 cyl.).

It's going to be my wife's car, so she got to pick the colors. Personally I would have preferred your colors, the Granite ext. with the Light Frost Beige/Black int. as I've always liked the combo of lighter seating surfaces with dark carpeting. The wife prefers the Billet Silver and thought the Indigo Blue/Brown had a richer look. Looks like we're now on for picking it up tomorrow.

I am a Neandrethal in terms of my computer abilities and posting pics here. If you want to see some pics, look at photos on dealer sites of Cherokees they have in stock. Problem is the beige interiors will look white there. Again, think of a light tan raincoat or some of the more attractive beige BMW interiors you have seen (not the brown or orangey or almost white ones). That's what you will be getting.

Great news. Please report back how you like the interior color. My thought is that it will go especially well with the cherry exterior.

I told the dealer what I wanted on a Saturday. He located one with my color/selected options 150 miles away and made a phone call...and did a 'dealer swap' however that works.

It was on the dealers lot Monday afternoon & ready to go.

Beautiful. Sometimes I get a little antsy as to whether I made the right choice getting a Limited as opposed to a TH --- probably all the TH enthusiasm on this site. Your pictures help restore my confidence that I made the right choice. You will LOVE it.
