I posted this in another obscure thread. I'm so not happy with how this has all gone down. I know I need to be patient, but it's hard. This is the comical journey my Trailhawk has gone through so far. By the time I receive my Trailhawk, I will likely have been waiting 3 months.
Mine was ordered on 8/23. It would appear the dealer waited 7 days to key in the order. This really bugs me because the salesman made it a point to tell me how it was important to sign the contract and put down the deposit immediatly, because waiting just a day or two to commit might delay delivery by 'weeks'. This is the route mine has taken thus far. There is still NO expected delivery date. There was one at one time, but it has come and gone with no updated information. The more I think about this, the more pissed off I get. Especially since I see others who have ordered their Trailhawks MUCH later than mine are now taking delivery of them while mine sits in purgatory somewhere. By the time all is said and done, I will have waited 3 entire months. As you can see below, the vehicle was built within 2 weeks (10/3). It then sat in a lot somewhere with ZERO activity for over a MONTH (11/4). My estimated delivery date was 11/8. On 11/8 that date disappeared from the order and now the estimated delivery is N/A. Who knows when it will finally arrive. My guess is that it was one of the early ones built, got stuck in a storage lot somewhere with a billion other Cherokees, and they sent all the other ones out first.
