Most of my off roading experience was from the military driving military vehicles, but I'm itching to learn how to offroad with my KL.

Are there any 4x4 clubs around that can show a bloke the ropes after things go back to normal? Bonus if they aren't wrangler snobs haha

I used to own a wrangler, but my KL is much more comfortable on-road which is where I spend most of my time anyways

What state do you live in? Here in Ohio, the MOJO club welcomes all Jeeps, and many of the members have been quite surprised and impressed by the KL TH abilities. Our monthly rides are divided up into 3 groups for Stock, Modified and Advanced. The TH can do some of the Mod trails with a skilled driver and a lift + tires. I stick with the Stock trails. We also do some Road Rides for scenic tours, and social events.
The also run the Ohio Jeep Fest every year.

When I had my 4x4 pickup, I found the Ohio Trailriders club. They do a Novice ride twice per year and invited me along for that. It was a blast, and was on the same trails I now run with MOJO.

I had to double check I was in the right forum!

I'm a Toronto boy, so Ohio would be a bit out of the way for me. If I lived in Windsor, I might consider it, but even then it might be a bit of a stretch.

If you found any clubs I would be interested, I just posted basically the same discussion. I want to find a club/group of like minded people, without 100k rigs, or atleast without having to destroy my TH to make it through, and just to learn/explore some offroad trails in Southern Ontario. I am located in Oshawa.
