Hi everyone, reading the forum these days is a little like watching the news on the TV.
If it is not bad news it never gets reported.
So come on guys and gals many of you have had your vehicles for a period of time now, so lets here how you are enjoying your vehicle and lets paint a truer picture of the Cherokee rather than gloom and doom of those experiencing problems.

Regards Geoff

Geoff,
I agree, and would add to post PHOTOS! With people smiling! I will get on it.
Loving my week-old custom-ordered Limited. Thanks for your post!

Still loving mine. Got about 490 trouble free miles. Had it since 12/1 and it is doing great. Nothing to report except fun.

Geoff,
There's gonna be problems big and small in the forums, be it JCC and others. Internet parroting is just like hypochondria. With that being said, I went north of the 1k mile mark without any issues. The best part of all is how my jeep performed in the mountains. Handles like an AWD with more dedication towards consistent power. I can't wait to of wheeling in this rig. I only have minor temperature issues. But overall, it exceeded my expectations and is more fun to drive than my previous wrangler.

I am at the 1700+ mileage mark, bought it on 12/1. Other than the UConnect having issues (its the UConnect having problems, not the Cherokee; and they are installing a new one on the 31st.) its been an awesome vehicle. Almost everyone who has seen it really likes it (my father-inlaw doesn't like the looks, but thought the inside was great).

Even though it has a smaller cargo area, it hauls more than my old Cherokee by the design of the folding seats.

Have had my Latitude for just a week. About to hit 1k miles and it is running beautifully. As others have mentioned, shifting is getting better all the time.

I love my Cherokee!

I was fortunate to get one hot off the press, Nov 7. Knock on wood - no problems with almost 2000 mi. The steering wheel creaks on cold mornings and I can't rely on it to accelerate fast out of a dead stop (it pops from still to 1st to 2nd and then moves along once in 2nd or 3rd). I can't say enough about the smart design and fab interior. The only wish I would have is that they would have built a place to slide my Ipad. In short, I love my Cherokee. It does everything I've asked so far, navigated through 1 foot of snow, cruised the gravel roads to go climbing, run through the dips and craters of back roads, and taken business customers to lunch in fine style. I am pleased and we are happy.

Indeed!! I was in the butchers today and read a funny quote, no one tells about a good experience but everyone tell about a bad one!!!

With the amount of 'Kee's in the system, I think the quality is **** good, with only a few issues on the early build it would seem bad on the threads here

I was starting to get cold feet as we traded my '05 GC limited 5.7L. This is our 5th jeep.
Picked up my TH 2 days ago. Anvil out; brown in.The feet are warm as is the butt and hands. Loving it.
I was sort of obsessed with tracking it on MOTS, now I'm focused on learning everything I can about it.

Just hit 3300 miles today on my Latitude V6. I finally got to do some highway driving and got it into 9th gear twice which has also been questioned as being possible on some posts. I am extremely happy so far and am glad others are too!

Great to read so many posts with very positive feedback .
We all understand that there will be some problems with a new model but this puts it into perspective and certainly helps possible future owners to see just how good this new Cherokee is.

Considering this is one of the only "taller" cars my aging, back-aching body is comfortable sitting in I am not going to allow issues to set me back.....cause, and I thought I'd never say something like this......but I LOVE THIS CAR! I REALLY DO!

Now that I got that off my chest we can move forward.:):D:):D

In my opinion this is one of the best vehicles I have ever purchased. Had one problem with a leaking line but other than that it's been flawless. I totally love this Cherokee. Along with all my other XJ Cherokee's LOL!

LOVE my TH. It's been a week and a half now.... But there is a downside:

It's the most comfortable place I have to sit. That means, when I arrive back at home, it's hard to turn off the car and go in. Coddled by the Grand Canyon brown leather seats, lumbar set to my liking, seat heater nice and toasty, music playing beautifully through the Alpine speakers.... I just want to stay in the Jeep and bask in its comfort with my incredible wife at my side.

See? There IS a downside.
