Oh boy. Wow, that's terrible. It IS a raw deal. Hang on there and let us know what your dealer has to say for himself. I know they didn't make the a Jeep, but they sold it.

I feel your pain. I was without my TH for a week but your issue seems so much more complex. Hope you get the car back soon and make sure it is in perfect shape. How many miles/km did it have when you brought it in?I got my license plates in the mail today! I should be so excited to put them on my new car...but I haven't seen it in 14 days. It is still at the dealership waiting for the new transmission to be put in, they have now been in possession of the vehicle trying to fix it for longer than I had it after I bought it. Supposedly I am getting it back tomorrow, but seeing at it Christmas Eve, it may not happen, and I may not be able to get there to pick it up if it is late in the day. Sorry to be a such a downer, but I got that package in the mail and almost cried. I have received my car payment bill, my insurance bill, my plates and registration...yet have no car.
600 miles. Total transmission replacement. They said the transmission or casing was porous and they thought it was just made at too high of a temperature or something. I am not happy. The dealer is only doing what they have to do, it is covered under the warranty and I am getting a rental with my MaxCare warranty that I already paid for. In the meantime, I have been driving a Chrystler 200 for the last 2 weeks. Thankful I have wheels, but I am still really mad. My driveway is stained completely with transmission fluid and they said the bottom of my car was coated in the stuff. I just wish they would take the car back - I have lost my appetite for it completely!I feel your pain. I was without my TH for a week but your issue seems so much more complex. I would suggest in the strongest of terms discussing the issue with the sales manager and say that only a perfect-functioning Jeep will be acceptable. If not, then suggest they replace it. Obviously their obligation at this point is to do the repair under warranty but it never hurts to ask.600 miles. Total transmission replacement. I did, the dealer said I have to go through the factory for a buy back and repurchase, if that is the route I want to go. Frankly I just want my money back...as socal bob states. Ask for a replacement after all you've been through.
I don't blame you. Not at all.I did, the dealer said I have to go through the factory for a buy back and repurchase, if that is the route I want to go. Frankly I just want my money back...
Yuk. I was bummed at having a seemingly unsolvable problem so early in the life of the car.I did, the dealer said I have to go through the factory for a buy back and repurchase, if that is the route I want to go. Frankly I just want my money back...
