Definitely rock rails if you go off road, mine have saved my rocker panels a lot of times.
The new Cherokees have a lot better lighting but you may want better driving lights or fog lights depending on where you drive.
Hopefully you have factory tow. It is a good receptacle for a bamboo bumper, reversing light and/or backup alarm.
A Hayne's repair manual is handy so you don't oops.

The rest is in the Owner's Manual, good reading if you have insomnia.
Create a Jeep Owner's connect account for Recall and other information.
Check DriveUconnect so you can stay up to date on Uconnect updates.

I recognize that paint scheme! Welcome from Austin!

The only thing I’ve done to mine is rock rails, a lift kit and new tires. oh…I’ve put a light on, but it’s very stealth. Prefer to keep mine as subtle as possible.
