Howdy,

Contemplating a Cherokee purchase next year.

This will be my first jeep.

My "biggest" concern is interior room. At 6'7" and 275, afraid the cabin might be a bit cramped, but I am in love with the vehicle.

It can't be any smaller than the Camaro I drove in high school.

U came to the right place. There are other tall people that either like/ dislike the interior space. You might wanna just go to the dealer and check one out. Good luck with your decision...cherokee or not.

Welcome to the forum.

There is ample adjustment to the driver's seat to where you should be comfortable.

Then just strap in and enjoy the ride.

I had a 350+ lb. front seat passenger that could sit comfortably.

Def planning a test drive of the new Cherokee and a Wrangler Unlimited.

Not really planning to buy for another 3-6 mths though, so I have plenty of time.

G'day and welcome to the forums! So much info and tips here as once you arrive at the dealer you will know more than the salesman

Front seats you should be just fine, and if you dont opt for the sunroof, even better,

The back seat roof height is a little cramped, and I'm on 5'10, not that didnt put me off,

My folks are shorter than me, and will be fine for road trips

You should be fine in the Cherokee and I hope that it works out for you. I am 6'1" and actually test drove a Miata so I hear you there. LOL

For the two people up front everything is great. I will say that if you plan on hauling around more people your size then the people in the back will be cramped. I took my coworkers to lunch in mine, there were 5 of us, and the 3 in the rear were stuffed in - Granted we are larger IT types.

Def no sun roof. Would love to have it, but I can not give up any headroom.

Only folks riding in the back are the kiddos, 8 and 5. So no problem there, at least for a few years.
