Currently trying to figure out a way to adjust or quite possibly replace the dual square exhaust tips on my JC 2020 4x4 limited.
Can anyone help me out on how I can go about undoing this screw/bolt/rivet to get started?? I can’t find anything about it online AT ALL so any help is much appreciated.

You might ask a body shop mechanic or Jeep mechanic. If he can tell you what the tool is called, you could buy it someplace.
Do you think something like this would work? https://www.amazon.com/XBRN-Removal...t=&hvlocphy=9007809&hvtargid=pla-744333045313
Interesting and I’m sure with enough effort it should.. It’s looking like I’m gonna have to ask a mechanic to cut it off for me. Just want the exhaust tips out so I can replace them. Thank you so much for your time!!

Those look like one time push pins. You have to cut them to get them off. It's like a combination push pin/ pop rivet.
That said I don't understand what you're trying to do, unless you backed into something and bent the tips.
I’ve never seen one like it! I was expecting knobs and screws, I did not think they'd use these for securing exhaust tips..
I’m sorry if I wasn’t specific enough! What it is, is that I’ve noticed the exhaust tips on my Jeep don’t only look awful, they are also UNEVEN and it’s driving me to the wall :,)

I would much rather have no exhaust tips than have these right now, but I can’t figure out how to get the damn things off so I posted on here to ask - not knowing it’s most likely something that will need to be melted/cut off.. :(
Here are some pictures to be more specific on how they look like right now:

I just want them gone 😭😭😭

Would a piece of lumber fit in there? 2x4 or 2x3? If so, insert piece of wood then twist back into correct position with a pipe wrench or similar...

Having that said I'm desperate enough to actually try it- that's why I'm even asking if it'll cause damage to anything lol..
This is one of those things... where the outcome is totally unkown, a bunch of factors involved. An 'out there' suggestion for brave/desparate DIYers ;)
Just go easy, thin metal should bend, haha...

I can't tell from the pictures, but some of these push pins are two piece. The middle can be pried up, and then the whole pin can be removed. Those tools shown will work, and are nice to have on hand. Harbor Freight has sets like those, if you have one of those nearby.
ALL HAIL your comment because I needed to see this today. I've just been defeated about it and about to just give up and let my OCD get triggered every time I look at it.. Seeing your suggestion today shows me I can still try to save my sanity from looking at my exhaust tips 😂 1st world problems amirite?

Thank you THANK YOU to the moon and back ✊👊👍🤝👏🙌

I will keep this in mind as I try and brave this out. I'll have a good long look at it and do a little poking before having a real go at it. But you can bet your bottom I'll be as easy as handling a new born baby lol
Thank you once again Mark, you're always coming through with the clutch saving the day :)
