Why would you ever use anything besides CarPlay or Android Auto?

Here’s one reason. When I’ve been to the Grand Canyon cellphone GPS reception is non existent. I was thankful that the Jeep navigation still had a satellite connection. On one trip it was late, dark, and raining. If I didn’t have the Jeep navigation I probably would have driven right over the edge! 😁

Just an anecdote. I had a Rav 4 rental once. Just a basic bottom trim level rental. It displayed the current speed limit on the dash so I know the GPS/maps were in there somewhere. 😁
