The lift gate is nice for sure but as far as my favs things about this new TH (my first jeep) is being able to turn off the seatbelt nag and the heated steering wheel (live in Canuckistan).

The one thing I wish you could do is turn off the start-stop permanently. However, you seem to be able to fool it by coming to 'rolling stops'. I'm guessing it's because it thinks you're going to turn or something. Sometimes I forget about turning it off (previous car didn't have this bs 'feature').

Anyways, all in all they put together a very nice machine. It's almost worth the painful payment. lol

thank you, too bad someone at Jeep isn't sensitive to the needs of seniors and or those with mobility issues-they could offer the hands free gate and say factory steps as part of the comfort package to those over a certain age or to those with physical challenges.
I don't think any manufacturer does that... They are in it for the coin... Dealers would probably hate it, too, for the increased verification needed on who qualifies...

That inner button is great! Beats the ones that are usually on the edge of the gate lid. I do like having the kick option to close if my hands are full.
I like this button too! One amusing thing about it is that in the carwash, I often see the cleaners searching for a button on the edge of the gate lid, then frustratingly give up and close it manually. And they are often somewhat short and struggle a little. Maybe a little mean to let them keep doing that, but feels weird to approach in the middle of the cleaning/drying and show them buttons on my car.

You can buy a module that will "remember" the start/stop button setting. So set it to off, and it stays off until you want it back on. I just installed one myself and love it. Haha, I know others won't think it's worth $100, but it is for me. (Incidentally, I have one for sale in the Classifieds for 2019-2021 Limited, Overland, or Trailhawk Elite that I purchased from another user before realizing it wasn't for regular THs)

What do you mean by hands free?you put your foot under the bumper? My TH doesn't have that.Is yours an Elite?
My question also. I have a 2020 Hawk and iI open my tailgate and start my Jeep from quite a good distance when I am coming from the store via the key fob, but no =underneath foot action. I thought I was getting this when I ordered it in 2020, but Ney.

So I am a senior and have a bad back. It would be nice to have the option of a button to CLOSE the driver's door (as Cadillac advertises on tv). When reaching for the door I find it stretches my sore left back area and even with my electrically controlled heated and positional seat I still have to stretch to get a hold of it. I would have paid for this.

Agreed, I love where FCA puts their power tailgate buttons.

I never understood why other car companies put their power tailgate buttons up on the tailgate when shorter people won't be able to reach it.

I believe the handsfree (foot activated) rear power tailgate was a TH Elite feature?

You can look in your Uconnect to see if you have the option to disable handsfree tailgate. It does take a couple of tries to figure out the gesture, but when you get it, and the Jeep does it, its cool!

Well damn the bad luck!!! Wow one more thing I'm glad I got when they were still available for Trailhawks. Power liftgate, 2.0T, heated and cooling ventilated, power on both, memory seats (that's huge!!!), and I think a couple more I'm missing. I smell a classic KL in the future!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist...LOL!!!😎

Same here as far as options, except power lift gate AND cooling seats (I have the heated option for both driver and passenger) (I bought my Hawk in the fall, so no need for the cooling seat, but I bet it's nice. .... Please tell me about the Memory Seat. I have not explored this yet. I think I have it. Every time before I get out I retract the telescopic steering wheel (love it!) and lower ther seat all the way and also move it to the rear all the way also ... this is great, gives a easy entry and exit lane. I am dealing with a bad lower back now and would love to have the option of a button to close the door (open it also, I guess) because when I reach to grab it it stretches my bad area and hurts. I thinl it was Cadillac that I saw had this. I would pay for this.
So much stuff to investigate. I just learnt I can bluetooth connect my iPhone once and then just have that option on the main MUSIC screen as anothe choice and not have to plug my phone into the USB each time I want to use it. I have the 2.0 and it gets up. Did 100 the other day and did not even notice it much.
All-in-all love the Hawk so far. Beautiful machine.

@WASOON , The Memory Seats were only on the Trailhawk Elite, Limited, High Altitude, and Overland in 2020.
The Memory Seats option also gives you the Easy Exit feature that can automatically move the seat rearwards when you turn the ignition off.

I think the "easy exit" thing is on all, or most with the power seat, and or seats, plural in my case. @WASOON the memory seats, and mirrors is amazing!!! They actually adjust independently to which ever key fob is used. I have my settings, and my wife has hers. Also nice when someone messed with your seat and mirrors, you just push the button, and it goes right back. If you have them, you will have three buttons on the drivers side door handle. It also has a setting to tilt the side mirrors down a little when you are in reverse that can be enabled...It's all another great feature that's actually been around for a long time, my 04 Mercedes had them. And I think most higher end trim models of most cars have them, Jeep was just a little late to the party, as usual...Then, they dropped the ball again!!! Glad I have it. I guess I'm spoiled, but a new Trailhawk is not in my future without everything I have now, that's now no longer available. Major Big Brass Bumble for sure, but then again, how many top executives and board members in any large corporation, actually know what the hell is actually going on nowadays anyway, or even care??? Not many!!! They just care about the multimillion dollar salaries, and not what the customers want...⚡😎

You know you have memory seats, if you have "1", "2" and "S" buttons on your interior drivers door handle trim, like this:
