In October 2017, I purchased a Mopar Lifetime Maxcare plan with $100 deductible from Clay Robbins at Zeller Motors in Kansas -- [email protected]
This was nearly two years after I took delivery on the vehicle, which had 35,974 miles at that time. His quoted price was $2865, and because I'm a PA resident, no sales tax was added. My local dealer couldn't come close to matching his price.
I understand that the Lifetime plan is no longer offered, but it seemed like the best deal at that time. The vehicle hit 118k a few days ago, but hasn't needed any covered service -- just routine oil and filter changes, spark plugs, coolant change, and brakes -- all of which I've done myself. However, I recently noticed a slow leak around the oil cooler which should be covered, so I'll see how soon my local dealer can take care of that.
It's worth mentioning that all of the warranty service it has required -- PTU replacement, stepped half shafts, and defective battery replacement -- was done during the initial 36,000 mile factory warranty period.
