Ordered a touch up pen in gray metallic and my dealer said that chrysler was not letting them make the order until at least April as of now. Not sure what is going on with getting touch up paint, it has been in short supply for a few years now. Even going to local auto parts stores, finding it in off brands like dupli color has been hard.

Is there literally one single part that's not on backorder right now??? Wait until the food supply is on backorder, I hope everyone still knows how to hunt animals, and grow stuff...😉😎

I am no good with touchup paint. So I go to a used car lot and have him do my paint touch up while I wait.
He mixes the paint to match and does wonderful work.
They go to different dealerships on a schedule so ask someone at the dealership when the paint guy will be there.
Now I have his business card so I can just call for an appointment.
I give him so much business the last time I went to have my driving light covers painted he did it for free.
Dents, the same routine, but he only does dents. Then I go to the paint guy.
These guys have to be good so a used car buyer never knows there was body damage.
For major off road wrecks I go to a regular body shop.

Ya I ordered touch up paint for my TH in October and still haven't gotten it. You would think it would be easy to get White. It's not just touch up paint for cars that are struggling. We can't get touch up paint for the products we make where I work. Think Olive green. They have the paint to paint the parts but they can't give up enough to touch up parts is they get scratched before shipment. Got to treat everything with kid gloves as they say.

Just Google "auto touch up paint". There's DupliColor and a bunch of others. Last year I ordered a touch up paint pen for my 2014 Trailhawk (Granite Crystal Metallic), matched perfectly.
Not for $12 like I can get at the dealer. I just have to wait.
