Right, ADDS 1/4" downward, meaning it adds the 1" lost compared to a spacer for the 1" lift, plus another 1/4"? This is what I'm wondering.

I'm not sure. I wasn't following the conversation to be honest. I was looking at the dob lift myself and decided to order just the springs rather than the struts and shocks because I need the extra weight capacity but not the additional wheel travel.
