I didn't miss a skid plateI guess I was on the rails a lot, too
It did everything on its own. It was rough driving up on a couple of spots but coming down was harder than going up.@Wheyman Was the KL able to make it all the way on its own, or did you require any winching, being pulled over obstacles etc?
Bigger steps and more of them and just a rougher tail in general. Now this is just the loop the trail makes to get back to the way you come in. In part 1 where edge600 went up the first obstacle is where we met back up.What made coming down more difficult? Usually having gravity on your side makes it somewhat easier...
Is the final loop one way, preventing you from coming back down the same side you went up? Or maybe at a time other than EJS one could take the "easier" way..?Bigger steps and more of them and just a rougher tail in general. You could probably go back the way you came up but we had 75-100 jeeps coming up behind us.Is the final loop one way, preventing you from coming back down the same side you went up? Or maybe at a time other than EJS one could take the "easier" way..?
Now that you've done Steelbender I bet you'd think the loop back down wasn't that bad if you did it again! LolYou could probably go back the way you came up but we had 75-100 jeeps coming up behind us.

No, it was still bad. Maybe if I had a couple more inches and wasn't loaded up.Now that you've done Steelbender I bet you'd think the loop back down wasn't that bad if you did it again! Lol
"Drove all the way up here and there's cars up here" Dan Mick. Ahaha ha
Good point, I didn't think about you being loaded down. No, it was still bad. Maybe if I had a couple more inches and wasn't loaded up.
Dobinsons. 10% stiffer springs! No, it was still bad. Maybe if I had a couple more inches and wasn't loaded up.
Timing had me loaded down for all of my runs except Dome Plateau.Good point, I didn't think about you being loaded down.
I think that is going to be my next upgrade. Have to balance between that and a new computer system though. The 8350 I'm running is sooo slow.Dobinsons. 10% stiffer springs!
The Dobinson adds 1", but also adds/keeps the 1" of travel right? I am thinking about saving up for this for when I hit the 50k mark or so and my stock stuff is more worn out.
I noticed that wheyman with the hazzardsky lift didn't scrape as much as me on Dome, and watching the videos it looks like Edge has even a slight edge on that.
fx-8350? Me tooTiming had me loaded down for all of my runs except Dome Plateau.
