I don't see where anyone has started a post on this yet so here goes.

Meet up with another member on Monday and we ran dome plateau. Only a couple of tough spots really but overall very enjoyable. We had to bypass the second tough spot only because we would have been nose deep in the sand. Just not enough approach angle.

The view was astounding and we even were able to see an arch that few get to see.

Hope to have lots more to share.

I highly recommend the back way in or out of Arches NP, Willow Springs Road. Easy but fun way in.

@wheyman cheers!

More to come

Ran Potash / Shafer/ pucker pass (long canyon) loop yesterday. All really easy stuff. The family rig, a stock Tundra TRD, came too.

The only tricky part was a boulder ledge inside pucker pass that wasn't mentioned anywhere, I wonder if it's developed within the last year. There's no way around since it's canyon walls on both sides, I just went straight down and used my left slider. The Tundra contacted its frame rail. We didn't stop for pictures, unfortunately.

The whole Shafer and Potash trail is so easy an fwd or ad1 could easily do it. The rock tunnel on long canyon could also be easily reached by coming up from the bottom side, and turning around, skipping the boulder in pucker pass.
Yes, thank you!!! That pile of rocks under the boulder on the right in the pic, definitely was not there yesterday LOL. We were impatient and just went over it anyway. RRO sliders FTW, I got away Scott free. The Tundra got a ding on its forward pinch weld body area, and hit the frame rail.
The same situation, reversed going up, guaranteed contact on one slider and rock on the other side. I think rock mode and the locker would do it. Thenow again, I didn't try :-D
Awesome work! Was that the "tip toe through ****" version?

I don't think I have much powder coat left on the bottom of my sliders after a week in Moab. Then again, most of that has been without spotting and winging it...
Here's all of what I ran over the past week. The other guys did a lot more challenging trails than I got a chance to, I mostly just ran easy ones with friends and family here and there.

Fallen Peace Officer
Sand Flats Road & spurs
Dome Plateau
Tusher Tunnel
Willow Creek
Potash / Shafer / Long Canyon (Pucker pass) loop
Fallen Peace Officer Trail

We ran it because it basically intersected with our camp site. This wasn't a hard trail, no real obstacles but there was a hairpin turn and a small cliff. The trail felt like miles and miles of loose bumpy rock. In hindsight I wish we just did the better known Klondike Bluffs. The trail book gives this a "moderate" rating and I think it's too new to be on RR4W or traildamage.com, it wasn't difficult but it was rough compared to others that have better views and funner trail.

Oh and I did this during Fallen Peace Officer. Big, loose rocks for miles on end gets old and then I see this back at camp. On the bright side it's fully cosmetic, there's a thick bead of rubber to protect the rim and that's what apparently tore in a pinch.

And as it turns out, the super slider offers a lot more protection than the stealth/Mopar slider would, since the step rail sticks out from the body. I am glad I went with this version after a week in Moab.

Camp site in Sand Flats on Fins'n'Things

Sadly I didn't get to run it. Other forum members have, though!

Sand Flats road is boring and flat. There are some fun spurs to tool around on, though, but we didn't stop to take pictures. A trail sign on a spur that says "dead end in 1 mile" is an open invitation.

Dome Plataeu

Me, another member, and a JK easily ran this one. It offered some amazing views and half a dozen stops of opportunity (good for sight seeing passengers), with some minor challenges along the way. We played it safe skipped or skirted the descent on two big rock steps the KL might have been able to make. There were plenty of 4-low rock climbs to be fun.

I'm hoping there's some dash cam footage waiting to be posted!

Tusher Tunnel

Very easy trail. Pretty much a rocky and sandy dirt road (non-TH don't be afraid). Cool tunnel and small slot canyon at the end.

Geyser Pass

Tried to run Geyser or La Sal pass, but there's still too much snow up there.

Great pictures! I was fun to get to hangout with you guys. Safe travels home!
I'm glad we at least got to meet up! Keep me posted on the bumper progress. I'd probably be interested

Not sure where or when, but I scraped the chin a few times. I think I need a lift and/or bumper :D

Cool, nice first trail video! The dash cam is good to have. I rarely think to get out to take pics of the action.

The Dobinson adds 1", but also adds/keeps the 1" of travel right? I am thinking about saving up for this for when I hit the 50k mark or so and my stock stuff is more worn out.

I noticed that wheyman with the hazzardsky lift didn't scrape as much as me on Dome, and watching the videos it looks like Edge has even a slight edge on that.
Timing had me loaded down for all of my runs except Dome Plateau.

I think that is going to be my next upgrade. Have to balance between that and a new computer system though. The 8350 I'm running is sooo slow.
fx-8350? Me too
Dobinson lift gains 1" of lift and 10mm or 1/4" of additional downward wheel travel. That's directly from Dob.

Right, ADDS 1/4" downward, meaning it adds the 1" lost compared to a spacer for the 1" lift, plus another 1/4"? This is what I'm wondering.
