I'm leaning toward maxtrax but they don't fit in the trunk without folding the seats so I'd have to put them on the roof. I'm concerned that the mini are just too small since they were originally designed for SxS and UTV/ATV and small 4x4 like a CJ.

I've have a different brand, but have only tried them twice. Both times they didn't help, but it was a long shot at best. The small ones will probably be just fine.

Strap them to the rack when you go wheeling. Problem solved.
