From stock OEM 270hp & 295tq, to 315hp & 330tq, a 45hp increase & 35tq increase is possible using these methods. Due to constraints of time and funding this was the best I could produce. To my knowledge this is the most powerful and quickest 2.0 4x4 (not FWD) KL Jeep out there. The idea was to keep OEM turbo & engine. I’m sure at some point someone will discover a more advanced system to supersede this research. Note: Piggyback tuners do not work on these jeeps! Even though temporary power gains were occasionally recorded, they were never stable or consistent, they will cause many dangerous drivability problems and potential damage after short use, do not recommend!!(JB4/Race Chip). This research was to create something more reliable, and legal for most roadways. The power increase was intended for off-road, towing, and track purposes, while maintaining daily driver practicality. I do not recommend or guarantee any of the below to anyone. The order in which you modify will affect overall results as shown below. Attempting any of the below listed modifications could definitely cause issues as do any modifications. Enjoy 😉
Original 1/4 mile was 15.21 seconds @91mph
1/8 mile was 9.87 seconds @73mph
0-60 was 7.0-7.25 seconds
Final 1/4 mile 14.47 seconds @95mph
1/8 mile 9.27-9.33 seconds @76mph
0-60 was 5.95-6.11 seconds

2nd mods 3” Magnaflow Cat back exhaust, NGK spark plugs resonator delete, pipe bend removal. Lost torque gained some power. Unless
tuning keep stock pipe diameter.

3rd mods Vivid Racing flash tune, fuel used 91 instead of 87, Power and torque increased.

Note: Pure stock models increase hp & tq more, recommend Keeping stock exhaust if only using vivid tune, and if using this stage 1, recommend axle back exhaust, high flow air filter, & higher octane for best results. Still a great product.
4th mod HP tuners patch & 94 octane mix, power & torque increased.

Note: HP tuners provided a patch to local tuner to increase torque in TCU, very limited functionality is available unfortunately. Without TCU unlock torque will be limited to a max of 325tq at flywheel. Jeep turbo stock was measured at 22psi, due to limitations of Honeywell turbo, a max of 26.3psi was achieved. Fuel line pressure still had room, if requesting more boost recommend upgrading turbo. If looking for higher Boost recommend strengthening internals.
