The Jeep Cherokee displays "Low Range" on the EVIC when the fuel level is low, instead of providing an estimated mileage. This is a design choice by Chrysler, likely to encourage earlier refueling. Mine goes to low range at 30 miles. Always have hated that too. 30,000 miles later and I know how far the needle can go. Put 15.8 gallons once when meter said 80 but then had to wait for Avalanche control for 30 minutes. Yes I know. No lectures please.
