I'm trying to find a good place to get my 2" Hazard Sky Aussie lift installed near Denver and just got a quote of $650-700 for labor alone. Going to check around a few more places but does anyone have a place they recommend? If I keep hearing numbers like that this will definitely be an at-home job.

Find a local Jeep club and ask for some assistance. If you find the right group, they'll get you together for a wrenching party and you'll be on your way.

$700 seems steep for compressing springs, putting in spacers, and replacing the springs.

@gravitywell that was my thoughts exactly on the cost. Got about 4 more quotes that were about the same. Ended up spending the $10 for the Service Manual on ebay and thinking about going after it with a buddy. Only thing I'm unsure on is either dropping the lower control arm or using a spring compressor. Seems like the compressor is the easier route as long as you're careful.

Both, makes it an easy job.

Compress the spring, lower the arm, and slide the spring right out.

It /can/ be unnerving to be wrestling a compressed spring. ;)

Ended up installing myself with a buddy and dropping the LCAs. Pretty easy after doing my research. Hardest part was getting the bolt back through the LCA and knuckle!
