Right on! Just did Rocky Gap on Saturday. It's in the Red Rock Scenic loop and it was an absolute blast. I would have to say that it is pretty much the limit of what the Trailhawk can do. I hit the skid plate two or three times, and there were spots where I wouldn't fit if I was an inch wider. Good time.

Make sure you get a quick deflator and a portable air compressor for your tires. I aired down to 20psi for the first time on Saturday and holy cow what a difference that makes! Street PSI is PUNISHING on the rocky trails that we get out here, but running at 20PSI it was pretty comfortable and I was able to probably drive twice as fast.
Do you recommend one? I looked on Amazon and saw a lot of people has fuse trouble.

Well cool, that would be fun. I haven't actually been up there but my dad just went a few weeks ago and the footage looks awesome, really scenic.

I just started a new job today so I don't know what kind of time I have off but maybe we can put something together soon. When I know what my schedule is like I'll start a thread for us to figure it out!

Hello guys,

I am a proud owner of new baby Jeep cherokee and been looking for some folks who like to travel to places less traveled. Currently leaving tomorrow for a two day trip up Mormon Trail road for some hiking and camping. But am interested in other area's to go to as well.

My Family and I just cam back from the mormon pass trail and the area of the washout. I spent two days there having fun got my jeep up onto two wheels and we had a blast as well. I am always looking for a partner to off road with. better in pairs than alone.

I realize this last post was from May, but are you still looking for people to go with? I've never gone off-roading but would be into it, especially with another. Think my Latitude (non TH) could work?

Oh Vegas how I miss you. I lived there for about six years before I moved up to Elko. I loved how you could leave town in the middle of winter and go explore the hills without needing tons of cold weather gear or snow shoes lol. Luckily I'm headed down to visit some family after Christmas, maybe I'll spot a few of you around, however unlikely.

A question - what kind of fuel mileage have you folks in Vegas been seeing? The city is relatively flat and at a lower altitude, so I'm wondering how much of a difference I could expect from up here.

I off-roaded from Scotty's Castle to Gold Point, NV via Oriental Wash and had a blast. Lots of abandoned gold mines along the way and stayed in the Gold Point Ghost town for a few days. From Beatty to Chloride was the most challangng. Looking forward to going back next Spring.

Hwy miles are great. My average is 23/24. I'm very happy with the power to fuel ratio on my TH!

Just got back from a 3 day camping trip out at lake mead. Great weather and had a blast off roading looking for some good fishing spots. Last morning ran in to a two wheel drive ranger stuck frame deep in some muck. They were there since 9 pm the previous night trying to get it out. I guess a few people came by but wouldn't help...was very tough spot. We pulled them out no problem.... Went to go fish and saw them try to leave and get stuck again. lol So ended up towing them up and over the side of the hill that was rock instead . This TH is a beast! Had no trouble what so ever! Felt pretty good all day but still didn't catch any thing.
