Yup. I did it today. Saw another KL coming the other way on a 2-lane street and I instinctively raised a hand to Jeep wave. Got a wave back :)

I drove a JK for three years and got used to getting and giving waves from other wranglers (well sometimes, the Jeep wave is getting extinct!). I haven't succeeded getting a response from other model Jeeo drivers yet but here's hoping the KL bunch will keep the faith amongst ourselves.

So next time you see a fellow Jeeper and especially a KL, Wave!

Back when the PT Cruiser was new almost all drivers would wave or flick the lights. Hope to get a Cherokee early next year. Will have to try the wave.

I had a 2010 Jeep JK and am now awaiting the arrival of a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Should have it within the next few days. In my many years of driving, the only wave that remained constant is among motorcycle riders. I did get intermittent waives with my JK but not every time. As a lifetime Harley rider I am a big fan of the wave and hope it catches on with the Jeep Cherokee crowd.

Will say the wave is depending on drivers of other vehicles. I have a Challenger and get about half of other Challenger drivers to wave back. It seems it is getting less as each year. Not a big deal I get guys on tractors waving so to me it's just a friendly thing to do.
