As of recently I've been using jeepstatus.com to track my order as it's been a lot more accurate than VOTS for me. For those of you that have MOTS at your disposal, how accurate would you say jeepstatus is as compared to MOTS?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this helps but I checked mine and the status is close. On Jeepstatus, I showed Final Inspection and Shipped to Storage. On MOTS, it shows my Jeep was built, went through inspection and what storage area it was in. MOTS, for me, is about the specific details. I can see "real time" all the different places they are moving the Jeep and the date/time. Also, on MOTS, they have the estimated delivery date.

I don't have MOTS access, but for me both VOTS and jeepstatus have updated around the same time. The move to D1 was in jeepstatus.com first, but not by much. Next time around I saw the update in VOTS first.

MOTS had major limitations for me. Don't think it was their fault, but nonetheless, tracking after shipping never happened, and that's what I paid for. Milous (admin) gave me the printout of my vehicle for free for my troubles.

Forgot about jeepgarage.com. They may be providing MOTS detail but for me the update shows up either in VOTS or on jeepstatus.com before they update.

Thanks for all the input everyone. Looks like I'm not missing out on too much from MOTS haha.

IMHO it seems like MOTS gives you the blow by blow whereas jeep status provides the exact stage. I was wondering why my TH was stuck in inspection purgatory so long. I found on MOTS it had been placed on hold. Neither jeep status or VOTS give you that info.

Any word on why your Cherokee got placed on hold? My first order that is competing with yours has shown first rail departure since a few days ago on jeepstatus, my dealer expects it by early next week. My second order they expect by the first of the year, it hasn't built yet so we'll see about that... haha.

No idea. One explanation I got was that they found something during inspection so it was sent for further inspection. Seriously, who knows. I'd prefer they take care of any issues there. The waiting is starting to give me cold feet. I sure hope I like the TH as much as I have my GC.
Update from jeep status:
KZ
Shipment
Released by plant, invoiced
My dealer knows nothing.
Guess the race is still on, but I think Texas-Trailhawk may win the race.

Mine is staged for shipping as of last night but mine has a lot further to go Girtygirl.

Looks like I've entered "inspection purgatory" as Girtygirl called it. Been stuck there since the 18th. If there is a bright side I guess it's one of the few times that jeepstatus.com, MOTS and VOTS are all in agreement...

Have to say dealers are sometimes clueless as far as when a vehicle is coming. Mine showed up on 12/12 and they didn't know it was coming, I had sent an email to my salesman that it had been invoiced on 12/9 but it said it hadn't shipped yet. Matter of fact it still says it hasn't shipped. It's sticker says it was produced on 12/7 I'm assuming that is final inspection since it's on the right door and completely painted so I think it actually started production on 12/5 or 12/6 depending on what time. It takes about 1 1/2 days from start to finish. With 12 hours to get through paint. Good Luck to you all and hope you all have a Merry Christmas.

Got another explanation for the selection of a jeep for inspection purgatory over at jeep garage. Apparently, after a certain number they pull a jeep and do a more thorough inspection. You will be able to tell as your jeep will come with miles on it (62-65) and a sticker. Interesting.

Hi All. Looks like jeepstatus.com is no more due to some action taken by Chrysler and vots site is useless once at "shipment" status. Any other suggestions as to how I can track where my loaded (except for tech. pkg.) 4x4 granite Limited is?
