Bought my first Jeep Wrangler 3 years ago, was shocked to see it was a "jeep thing" to wave to other Wranglers owners on the road . . . .

Do you think pride of ownership will start this again? With the radical design you will be able to spot a Cherokee a mile away . . .

I wave at Wranglers now and they ignore me. In my LJ they would wave all the time.

if you have a wrangler and wave to another wrangler, there's a high percentage you'll get one in return. if you have a liberty and wave at wrangler...expect to get nothing in return.

xj's are 50/50. i'm not even sure if the KL will get the attention as the wranglers though.

its usually the wranglers..

other jeeps get ignored.

Yeah its a wrangler thing. I find that most people who have JKs have no clue. The TJs/CJs have the greatest participation. I have a 4DR JK and I've had wrangler drivers at the local club tell me they ignore 4 doors! I had two different CJs before. So its even a "Jeep Thing" to have a thing about certain Jeeps!
