2014 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 3.2l v6

Video
This was 140 in the recording but I hit 144MPH a little bit after.
I was on old sparkplugs at 99k mileage. I just changed them about a week ago and I've yet to go test.

I know in the log below the IAT is quite warm, since then I've deleted one of the fog lights and mocked up a routing to the intake area. I have already noticed massive results in temps.
This is a toll road in Dallas, TX. Road was completely clear.

I've run many track days at Mid Ohio and run autocross for a couple of years, in cars. My main concern would be the mismatched tires. Even if they're properly speed rated, going for "Ludicrous Speed" like that the marshals at the track would never allow mismatched tires. Small differences can be disastrous with the speed and tire temperatures involved.
I hope you've upgraded your brakes and brake fluid properly as well. Everything else sounds pretty good.

A properly-rated helmet would also be strongly advised, at least to preserve the dental records. ;) :D

LOL, been there done that. Just see what it can do for moment in the XJ.

Then one day BAM!!! Taking off slow from a stop light...

...And that's how I got in to the ring and pinion business re-gearing all my friend's
Jeeps (and then some) for $200 a axle. If that pinion gear had snapped doing
triple digits, I'd be dust in the wind..

Thanks for the tip on the tires. I haven't upgraded the brakes yet. But i always make sure to do 1 or 2 passes down the road to make sure nothing it ahead!

What, jail time??? That's the kinda stuff the track is for...You definitely have bigger huevos than I do, and I've been racing most of my life...😳😎
 I always make sure the road is clear and I've got some countermeasures. I run the Uniden r8 and highway radar for planes/crowdsourced info.

Waze is free. I'd never spend $700 on a device that says, "You're busted!" ;)
I remember when the V1 was all the rage, yet that didn't keep my buddy
from racking up tickets like a mother!
His lawyer kept getting him off tickets, but still what a hassle.
The R8 is not RDD immune... ;)

In Texas they are Legal and its saved me a dozen times. I've never gotten a ticket in my life "knock on wood".
Of course you cant prevent a cop from using just line of sight guessing your speed or laser.
Highway radar uses waze's crowdsourced info, if setup correctly.
Obvious road awareness slowing down on curves and etc will help with not getting a ticket.

Probably the engine RPM is computer limited.
You will need to do some research but find some V speed rated P Metric tires that are larger in diameter.
For example 245/70R18 V rated tires, or whatever fits.
Your speedometer won't display your actual speed but a GPS that displays speed would. There is an AP for that, there is a AP for everything.
My land speed record it 5.4 MPH in 4 low using select speed control.
Speeding through the forest with trees clipping your mirrors is really exciting.
Not to mention launching out of mud pits using the rear locker.
140 MPH in an airplane is booooring.
Edit: The point I was trying to make is that 5.4 MPH is the cruising speed in 9th gear.
Each gear increment is 0.6 MPH which is 1 Kph.
While in select speed control you can still use the accelerator pedal to go faster.
