Its coming up to the time where a shady team of journalists tell us what car and truck are the best of the year. We are unaware of what metric is used to determine the winner, but whatever is chosen is the final decision.

This year's three finalists for North American Truck of the Year are the Chevy Silverado, the Jeep Cherokee and the Acura MDX.

Do you think that the Cherokee will beat its rivals? Do you think that all those delays earlier in the year will be detrimental to its chances? Which vehicle do you think will win?

based on looks alone, the Trailhawk model wins for me...a pick up is always going to be just a pick up and the Acura looks like just about every other high end SUV on the market...for off-road, it is probably a contest between the Chevy and Jeep, with the Trailhawk winning...I guess I am just a little biased...

Title had me confused....."truck" and "Cherokee" in the same sentence, i never considered the cherokee a truck.

I own a Cherokee and love it, but I certainly think that the Silverado is a better truck...
