It great to see that club members who have already taken delivery of their new Cherokees are more than willing to discuss problems, offer advice to any questions, and to exchange ideas.

I think this is most beneficial not only to all owners/future owners but also to all dealer techs, who I suspect may not yet be up-to-speed on these new vehicles and all their high technology and relative gremlins. A well informed consumer can no doubt help a tech in getting to the root of the problem in a much more efficient manner.

I also think Chrysler/Jeep would be wise to follow this board and reports VERY CLOSELY and to take "pro-active action" when ever necessary.

Keep up the good work everyone - shared experience/knowledge benefits us all.

Chrysler more than likely monitors forums. I know they used to hold periodic Q&A sessions on a Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep website I used to be on (LX Forums). Ralph Gilles mentioned many times that they looked at what folks were doing and made adjustments to future models.

On a slight sideline; this was posted on Facebook yesterday:

"Have questions about the new 2014 Jeep Cherokee? Get them answered by a panel of Cherokee designers and engineers during our Live Chat on Thursday from 4-5 PM!"

I agree!!! A forum with honest, knowledgeable members is a great asset to everybody with that particular vehicle.

I was previously a Dodge Challenger SRT owner and was on an awesome forum for years where I learned tons of stuff. There have been times where I went to my dealer for an issue and told them what actually happened and how to fix it. I love the look on the dealer's face when you tell them stuff they don't know about their own brand of vehicles and you do. It's priceless!!!
