Hello,

I'm installing an MFC lift with bilstein B6 shocks and struts. Anyone have a good guide or video to get an idea what I'm doing? (hopefully my WK wasn't too different)

The Jeep is a 2015 Trailhawk with 50k miles on it. Suspension is quiet still, rides smooth. Since I'm going to have the Jeep torn to pieces on the front end, what else can I replace just for good measure? I've seen strut bearings, should I bother replacing them?

Thanks,
Ben

Replace the strut bearings.
There are plastic clips for the front struts up on top. Some people can remove them without breaking them. I would buy new ones.
You might want to paint the struts and shocks. Struts are yellow, shocks are blue.
Not sure why they are not color coordinated.
I watched a guy doing the installation at a wrench turning party and it was a really difficult job.
Try this YouTube link:
There may be others.
The nut for the Bilstein strut top is different from the stock nut.

Looks like it could be a real pain in the ass! But can't be too bad. Took apart the front of my WK so much I could have it all apart in 30 minutes lol.
Might as well get a quote from the Jeep shop.

Thanks for the reply!
