It could also simply mean they found some issues on inspection that had to be resolved and its taking some extra time.
Also the reporting has not been the best at times (as mentioned before) and the movement gets ahead of the actual data output (print). My Cherokee was at the dealer 2 days before it appeared in print. My Cherokee went through (I) in one day but stalled out on an auto carrier to dealer for 5 days. It was reassigned and on a auto carrier for another week and delivered. Is that logical? The whole process was still only about 6 weeks.
But its very fast after you get out of (I).
Hang in there
Ordered 11/08
D1 on 11/20 maybe 11/21 See I have forgotten already
Build and (I) 12/11 and 12/12
Dealer 12/23
Latest From Jeep received this email today

Based on our records the car has been built you are lucky the vehicle has been selected for 100 percent inspection which will take some time

I guess I better reorder This just doesnt sit well with me????
I would not worry about this at all. In fact you should be happy.
From what I understand they pull random samples, Your Cherokee, to check every part and function to make sure its up to Chryslers/Jeep standard and production/suppliers are doing their jobs. You probably will even see some extra mileage from track testing. Other than some delay in shipment, which might even save you a trip or two to the dealer, Your Jeep will have been gone over with a "fine tooth comb".
That is a good thing!
Just hold in there.
