To be up front and honest I need to post that this info came from "Jeep Garage". I highly recommend you use this site as a companion to "Jeep Cherokee Club". I tried to edit my original post but could no longer get into it.

I spoke to my dealer today and played dumb "is there any incentives?" No, I doubt it he says...gonna be a new vehicle. Two minutes later phone rings, "great news, 500 cash incentive" he said it was only showing to the nov 4 but the vehicle I am now getting is in storage, he said they were going to try to get my name on it.

LOL, I think he looked at the end date wrong. He thinks he saw 11/4 as the end date but it is my understanding it is actually 1/4/14. Which makes sense as that is the end of the 4th quarter and incentives and prices usually are for the quarter.

For those that pre-ordered I guess you can get your negiotiated price and the extra $500 rebate... maybe?
Not necessarily. It depends on who you finance through or lease through. Looks to me like Chrysler Capital is offering both discount interest rates as well as discount lease rates. You negotiated your price, not how you were going to pay for it. Also, your negotiated price is not set in stone. If you check your build sheet you will notice prices have fluctuated slightly. My build sheet has gone up $10 so far and my Cherokee isn't even built yet. The only thing that is really set in stone is any cash amount or percentage off that you negotiated. Bottom line, any dealer is not going to eat a factory price increase.

This is so true, they will make sure they send what ever extra charges your way. Unless you're a very good customer of theirs then maybe not?

I imagine the 0.9 is for 24 months, 1.9 for 36 months etc. $500 doesn't help much. To get my fully equipped Limited or Trailhawk I'm going to need at least $4000 off MSRP. I may be waiting a while.

I always see car commercials telling you you can have this or that vehicle for 0% interest for well-qualified buyers, and I've always wondered, does anyone EVER qualify for that rate? And if they tell you that you do, where else do they stick it to you instead? IDK, call me skeptical. :dodgy:

Anyone here cool enough to pay for their Cherokees cash? :D What kind of deals did you get on that.
I always pay cash for my vehicles and I always get great deals, but not because of that more that the sales manager is a personal friend and he also knows that if he treats me right I change my car every couple of years so he gets repeat business.
