Run a Carfax, or similar, and get the service history. That's going to tell you everything you need to know. Nice low mileage car with a good record, and the price is right, might be worth looking at...Keep us posted...😎

The 2014 was the first year of the KL Cherokee so naturally more issues than later years 2016+. 2014 and 2015 were known for transmission issues. Some even had transmissions replaced due to issues. Mine is a 2014 that needed a new transmission around 80k miles due to very rough shifts and general poor shift quality. Also the 2 speed RDM (rear differential) which comes with the AD2 4x4 and trailhawk trims has had issues with failures and low range failing to work 4x4 errors etc. The newer ones seem to have less issues with the 4x4 systems as well. You didn't say what engine but the V6 is known for leaking oil coolers, roller rocker failures which cause a misfire and damages the camshafts. (These V6 issues were not fixed in later years) so no use getting a newer year to avoid those. Other than mentioned above the 2014's can be a nice capable vehicle for cheap. IF all checks out and you are okay with possible future transmission and 4x4 issues. Especially if has not been repaired with newer parts yet.
