I have been trying to find an ignition switched 12V in the interior.
I have read about using the pink/yellow wire under the dash, but i found out that there was power without the key been in.
The pink/yellow wire feeds the 12V socket under the radio.
I plugged an accessory in the 12V socket and locked the car and noticed that it was still on. The socket is marked with a key symbol so should turn off after locking the car!

Am i missing something? Can't seem to find a 12V ignition switched source

The Cherokee has a delay on ignition switched power, it doesn't switch off immediately, it switches off when the BCM goes to sleep - ~ 10 minutes...

Mystery solved All! All lighter ports were always on. I opened the fuse box in the engine bay and found out that the previous owner on the fuse for the rear outlet the has 3 pins to be able to switch from ignition switched to battery switched used a fuse with 3 pins which he was basically shorting the battery + with the ignition +. He must have thought it was a mistake to have a 2 pin fuse!
