I have the key fob that you plug into the car and the panic button is on the part that you plug in. Almost every time that I go to start the car the alarm will go off because it has to touch the panic button to go in to the "keyhole" has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it

This is what I'm talking about (you have to plug in the front part and it keeps bumping the panic button and setting it off) HELP PLEASE!!!

I have the same type key fob on my 09 Dodge Journey, never had this type of issue.

Do you have more then 1 fob? Does it happen with each fob?

Did you look carefully at the fob? Maybe there is something stuck to it that gets pressed while you insert the fob. Try cleaning with alcohol and see if it helps. Maybe try cleaning the “key hole” as well.
