Took a couple pics after my ride yesterday. Love how high the hitch is, lots of clearance, departure angle doesn't seem to be affected at all. Lift gate has good clearance due to the forward angle/hinges giving it a relatively vertical path compared to other SUVs. Definitely blocks the license plate (at least my 1up does, other racks might not as much), fortunately that's a non issue in TX, though I am considering buying the license plate attachment for my rack anyway since I leave it on 24/7.

I'll be needing a hitch mount rack. How do you like yours?

Love it. Had a Kuat NV previously which was a great rack, the 1up though is king. Costs a little more, but you wont find a bit of plastic on it, absolutely bomb proof. Easiest rack to load/unload I've ever used, and it is really low profile and easily stashed.
MTBR has an extremely long thread extolling it, tons of good info.

Nice Ibis and TH! I am getting a Yeti SB66 soon, I'll post pics when it gets in. I have a slightly different hitch mount...

Thanks. SB66 should treat you nice. Suppressed the new bike itch with the Cherokee, can never have enough toys though.

I hear ya, I used to ride everyday when I lived in the Northwest. Still have a Transition Preston FR, Santa Cruz VP Free, Banshee Scream and a few others...

They come and go, currently have that Mojo, an Ibis Hakkalugi Disc, Civilian Luddite SS Rigid, and Salsa Fargo. Next bike will be of the full susser 650b flavor I think.

Wow! A Trail Hawk with an off road bike, perfect combo. Lots better than mine.
Yes, You will need to upgrade that bike. It needs to have the Jeep name on it to match.
Great looking Trail Hawk. I do like the way the bike rack swings away.
Have fun!!!!!

I love it. Great set-up. This is the rack I am looking at to replace my bulky Thule T2. Is this the 1up single bike with adjustable 1 1/4-2" hitch? Also how long did it take to get this once ordered?
It is the 1-1/4" as that's what my previous car had, ships with an adapter for 2".
Ordered direct from them, its been about 2 years since I ordered it, but I recall it being pretty fast like 3-4 days.
Cant say enough good things about the rack, you will enjoy it.

I doubt Yeti is discontinuing the SB66..

I know for sure that this one isn't !
They are phasing the SB66 out for the SB75 in 2014 from what I've read too...which means they should be able to be purchased on the cheap.

correct. I hope to pick one up cheap before they're all gone.
They are still being made. A good friend of mine works for Yeti, visited with him in Denver over Christmas. He said they are going to be made for a few years still.

I dunno, following discussions on MTBR and other places it seems they are, maybe its just the all AL version though? They are selling for a song right now. Saw an SB66 Comp complete on Chainlove for like $1700 about 3-4 hours ago. They are being heavily discounted beyond model year pricing.
26" bikes just aren't selling well anymore.

I don't know either, just what I was told. Pretty sure the SB66 is their best selling Bike. $1700 would be a good price depending on the condition.

They were brand new...Chainlove is owned by Backcountry (Competitive Cyclist) and is a clearance site, they have a new deal pop up every 20-30 minutes. Looks like they are down to only XL and S sizes now though so if you can fit one of those, I'd keep an eye on it.

May have been at some point, but I doubt that is currently the case. I don't think there is a brand out there with multiple wheel sizes that would count the 26" as their best seller. I am completely happy with 26", but I def will go 650b next due to the dwindling 26" market.
