I have a 2014 Limited Grand Cherokee and have noticed quite a bit that my RPMs seem higher than normal. Whenever I step on the gas it has gotten up to 4000 at times and it concerns me if that is normal or not. I've had the jeep for just over a year and it has around 124,000 KMs on it. Is this normal or is there maybe a problem?

While technically this forum is for non-Grand Cherokees... 4000 RPMs is not unusual especially if it has the V6. It's got a rather heavy vehicle to move around. Perhaps you're pushing the gas harder as time goes on?

That said, if after more than a year the vehicle is behaving much differently, take it to the dealer for proper analysis.
