No i am not korean, American serving with the DoD in a civilian capacity. Very excited to get the truck and look forward to learning and growing the community....

Ausgti,
Pretty simple just take it to the Provost Marshall's Office, vehicle registration and transfer the registration from my wife's 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe....Under Status Of Forces Agreement, the plates are transferable....Korean's have to pay import tax of up to 30% for imported vehicles... This includes US Autos..... and the tax is based off retail regardless of how old the vehicle is..... My Brother in Law tried to buy my 2008 Dodge Avenger but the taxes would have been around 8-9K US dollars.. Registration transfer is free for people associated with the military!
