Has anyone checked whether there is much, if any, air coming out from the rear outlets? The ones on the backside of the center console.

There is virtual no air flow on mine. You can feel a very small amount of air coming out but it's almost negligible. Tried AC and heat.

So do you guys get decent airflow out of them when airflow is set to either feet or the dash ducts?

air from rear AC ducts/vents

Rear AC ducts produce air only for cooling. I experimented and found that they wont work when the system is using engine heat to warm up the cabin. To get the rear AC ducts to working especially in winter, let the cabin temperature reach comfortable 68 to 72 degree and then reduce the temperature all the way down to 60 degree. This will enable the AC unit to circulate the outside air directly (or kick off AC if outside temperature is more than cabin temperature) and you will see air gushing out from the rear AC vents. You can leave the AC in auto mode to test this.

This is due to the auto settings not blowing heat out of the dash vents either. Usually you want heat blown at the floor so it rises. I believe heat comes out under the front seats when on. You should be able to get hot air out of the console vents by manually selecting a mode that uses the dash vents.

The way to get a lot of air blowing out of the rear console ducts in the AC mode is first of all make sure the ducts are open using the dial on the back of the console, then in the AC mode turn up the fan speed and lastly you can increase it even more if you put the AC mode to recirculate using the arrow button next to the AC button. I got a lot of flow this way.

I just set it to the combo dash vent/foot setting, then close the dash vents. My wife and I stay toasty up front from the low heat in the foot wells, and the kids get hot air through the vents in the rear. Works like a charm.

That's exactly what I did scarpi.
I felt very little air flow from the rear vents, so I decided to get in the back seat and investigate. Yep, they were closed off. When I opened them up, decent air flow. Should be plenty to get the rear cabin area cooled down quicker than just the front vents blowing towards the back.
Down here in South Florida, that will come in handy.

The automatic air conditioning always blow the hot air from bottom floor vents and cold air from top vents. If you need air from rear ducts, see my earlier post in the same forum on how to experiment.

I had the same issue, mine would blow out AC but not heat..mind you i bought it brand new in November of 2015 it's a 2014 in the 5 months i have owed my jeep it has been in and out of the shop the last three months for repair on the rear vents....they couldn't figure out why it was not blowing heat. After 2 STAR cases were opened with Chrysler they came back with "oh your vehicle doesn't have the heat option for the rear" WTF right???? So Chrysler said they apologized for all the trouble and time of me taking it back to the dealership over and over for them to "repair" or "work" on the issue....they said they would Comp a monthly payment for me to help make it easier. Whatever.....my question is why did they have it for so long and working with Chrysler mechanics and technicians on this issue when there wasn't heat in the rear to begin with???? And why didnt Chrysler know this...aren't they supposed to be the best of the best in working on these vehicles?????
