I am trying to transfer music from a 2009 Commander to the 2014 Grand Cherokee in the HDD system...can someone please help or direct me...desperate as too much music to lose!!!!!

I'm pretty sure you can't get music off the MyGIG radio's hard drive.

Also, the 2014 Grand Cherokee, like the 2014 Cherokee does not have a media hard drive.

You could always use a nice big SD card, or USB thumb drive.

yea thats what i was thinking, USB drive it, or get an SD card just for the Cherokee... What about iPod connectivity? Will the apple cord work through the Cherokees USB drive?

I'm sure it will, it does on other Uconnect cars.

It should. Sometimes Apple changes things in updates and functionality is compromised.

The iPod works just fine with the usb connector.
