What will help even more is seeing it in person. Pictures are great but nothing beating seeing it in person under ideal lighting.

I saw the Granite today on a GC and it is a gorgeous color!! The Billet Silver is beautiful but nothing compares to Granite!!

Yes I saw it in person today... It was a cloudy/drizzly day in Chicago and it didn't look brown at all to me...

I don't have one I saw a GC in granite and I thought it was gorgeous and on a cloudy day in Chicago it didn't look brown but someone posted a pic and it sure does look brown...

I could be wrong, but I don't think that's the granite. I wouldn't be too worried.

Waaaaaaaaaay, way back in August, August 24th to be exact when I purchased my as yet undelivered, unshipped, rusting in storage TrailHawk, I was contemplating colors. I found a granite Grand Cherikee on the lot. It was a dark color almost black, with metallic texture. That was on a Grand Cherokee, perhaps the Cherokee version is different?

The granite JGC I saw was a rich metallicy dark gray if that makes sense- but someone above posted a pic of brown- my dealer said the granite is standard across all models so I'm sure what I saw on the GC will be on our KL...

That's how I picked the color too: by looking at a Grand. Should be the same.

That's too bad. That colour in the pic at post #14, a colour I would call taupe as it appears on my monitor, is striking. Just think, mud and dust would not show up at all.
