Looking forward to seeing some open / in use pictures of the RTT. I think this is the first I've seen of one on a Cherokee, highly interested in this!

Any details on this particular tent?

as someone who frequently loads and unloads cargo on the roof, do yourself a favor and get either the OEM Overland or the Visual Garage shark fin antenna. It saves you a bunch of room, as it looks like the standard mast antenna is already in your way. the shark fin stays out of your way when loading on the roof, and there is no loss of signal

Great antenna suggestion! The RTT is a CVT Mt Bachelor and it's on the RRO rack.

Added is portable power pack, adjustable awning pole from an extendable fiberglass saw poll that extents 10', bug screen for the windows secured with magnets.

I have a couple hundred miles with the tent on and I haven't noticed much of a fuel hit yet but haven't hit the strong west winds yet. My only complaint is a noise on the rear rail mount.

The noise doesn't sound bad but I am stopping where I had the rack installed to check the mount.

12 volt and 18 mah. The leds have been on for hours and voltage is holding.

The rack got a clean bill of health for the noise issue. I asked about the slight dimple on the roof and for the mount and he explained that the aftermarket mount is smaller than the oem mount plates for the roof rails

I'm jelly, that's my goal for next summer. Glacier as in Glacier National Park? I recently moved back up to Alaska from Montana but still have a cabin down in Condon (about an hour from West Glacier). Love, love, love Glacier

Yes stopping at Teddy Roosevelt then to GNP then Flathead State park

Looks like you have the command view sun roof. So do we. Just ordered up a RTT. Plan to mount it on my trucks canopy. I also want to mount it on our Cherokee. I'm a bit worried about the sun roof. Did you have any issues? What is the max weight you think you've had on the roof, with the tent and people in it?

I'm looking at getting the RRO rails and crossbars. Seems they cheaped out on not supplying with stainless hardware.

Do you have a write up of you trip? would love to see it. Rode my motorcycle from Washington through GNP in 2016.......just breath taking

That's a complete RRO (Rocky Road Outfitters) rack. It replaces the factory roof rails...😎
Ok! That’s what I thought. I just bought a RTT, RRO side rails, and RRO crossbars. Unfortunately, they just advised that they can’t send me the side rails and crossbars for 3-4months, since they are overloaded. I had planned to use my RTT for a big trip this weekend, so I’m totally bummed! I am now considering, buying heavy duty crossbars temporarily, but I am not sure if this is a smart move. I camp every single weekend, so this is a major set back. Thank you for getting back to me! Nice set up.

I was told RRO cross bars and RRO rails will work. Temporarily, until I get the RRO side rails, I actually just put my tent up (Tepui ruggedized kukenam 3) on my stock side rails and Thule Wingbar Evo crossbars. Hopefully my roof doesn’t cave in. The rack shop in Sacramento, CA said tracks are the best way to go. I’ll let you guys know. I’m driving from CA to North Washington and will be back Monday.

We are three nights in and slowly making our way back to CA. Everything is great! Here’s the tent on the first night (windows not popped open yet). 2015 Trailhawk, stock rails, Thule Winbar Evo, Thule Ruggedized Kukanam 3. For peace of mind, I will get the RRO side rails, but it’s held up like a champ
