2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited V6 4x4

Hey guys, looking for a little help.

Today I was cutoff in traffic and to avoid hitting the car that did it, i pulled to the right spun out and slammed into a big pile of snow.
luckily for me, we just went through a snow storm so the pile actually stopped my Jeep from hitting a pole.
everything seemed ok, no damage and the Jeep seems to work just fine but when getting home and pulling into my street (witch hasn't been plowed)
the gas pedal begins to squeak and vibrate.

if anyone has any idea what this could be please let me know
thanks guys.

Hi there and welcome to the forum !

You dodged a bullet there. Ok... sounds like you may have snow that got packed in places where the sun don't shine. Can you park the Jeep in a heated garage for 6-8 hours ? If not could you run it through a touchless car wash ?

Vibration could be coming from snow packed into the wheels. The squeak : no idea, throttle is electronically controlled (drive by wire), so not sure what's going on there... except some packed snow... somewhere...

Like Mark_ said, try to park somewhere heated or in the sun for a few hours, let the snow melt out. Then go get it washed, pay special attention to the underbody and the wheel wells/wheels.

I had the vibration BAD when I decided to blow through a huge snow drift (that incidentally was wayy to deep; luckily it was in my parents driveway lol). The vibration was awful the faster I went. Once I let the snow melt out all was good. I even had snow packed up into the grille and behind the radiator lol.

Was it pretty soft snow? I would also maybe check into getting an alignment, depending on the ice content of the drift.

Squeaking gas pedal is odd too, but who knows. Packed up snow and cause all kinds of odd behavior.

Good luck!
