For those interested, I made a very amatureish video of two main challenges made recently at Canyonlands National Park. The video is mainly of our descent of the trail down into Bobby's Hole and of our ascent up Elephant Hill in exiting the trail.


It was my first attempt at using the GoPro and the resulting video shows it.


I share it just to give anyone some idea of what the trail looks like in those two sections of the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.

Nice video man. How was the weather down there? It's still too cold to camp in the Unitas so I was thinking of heading south for some camping. Also what roof basket are you using?

Moab is always a good 5-10 degrees warmer than the north end of the state. While Moab was getting scattered showers the week we were there, we had a nice window of no rain all three days in Canyonlands.
I have the Kuat Vagabond X cargo basket. Gives you the option of carrying two bicycles up top if wanted. Also has locks for the bikes and to lock the basket to each of the roof rails.
