If you spring for the 4x4 you'll be far happier being up north. Even the AD1 would get you around far better.

Seriously consider the tow group. It gets you the 4500 lb towing capacity that cannot be added OEM.

Seriously consider the tow group. It gets you the 4500 lb (2,041 kg) towing capacity that cannot be added OEM.
Even if you don't anticipate towing a trailer of any kind, the tow pack includes a full-size spare and jack kit. Those alone are worth the price of the towing upgrade. And the hitch receiver and plugs are beautifully integrated into the rear bumper cover so they do not in any way detract from the appearance of your new Jeep.

Plus they get you the transmission cooler and I believe heavier duty engine cooling(or maybe it's an oil cooler) can't remember off the top of my head.
