Thank you for the responses however was looking for info from people from the same region so we can swap info based on similar weather vehicle and driving conditions.

I have a North 3.2 with tow package. Just over 1,000 KMs on the clock so far and I seem to be getting about 12 to 13 l/100km on my short (5 km) commute to work. Creeps up to about 14 or 15 if I use the remote start too much. Had a gentle 15 minute, 80 km/h cruise along the Whitemud yesterday and go 7.3 l/100 km (engine was already warm when I set off). Yet to take her for a proper road trip.

I haven't done a manual calc yet so all those numbers are just based off what the trip computer is telling me but it does seem to be improving as the car runs in, hopefully will be even better once the warm weather arrives.

I have a TH with the V-6 and trailer tow with a little over 800miles. I have not computed actual mileage but the computer states that it is averaging 19.8 miles per gallon. That is for about 50/50 city/highway with no expressway. Did around 200miles of highway in snow mode which limits top gear. Have not seen 9th gear, but on my rural highway miles running around 62mph it regularly runs in 8th gear on flat sections.

I got TH with tow, I'm looking at about 15L per 100km - was up to 18L first couple tanks, I'll check again then my current tank is done - what are you getting?

I'm averaging 16L/100 mixed city and highway.
I drive heavy though lol (I don't see a point in taking 5 minutes to get up to the speed limit, so its 'mash the gas' everywhere)

Highway driving, I've been down to about 10.3L/100
City, best I've managed so far is about 14.6L/100

Worst is when I toss her in to SPORT mode.... 20+L/100

not bad for a V6,,,, we had pretty bad cold weather here in Quebec since November, and my Honda CRV 2008 is doing about 15-18l/100km with 40%hwy/60%city.... and in the summer it goes down to around 10-11 for the same 40/60.... and 8-8.5 on hwy in summer....

I'm just into my 2nd tank with 600kms on the clock and the avg for the 2nd tack on the computer says its at 11.3/100 kms. 60 / 40 hwy city! I'm heading out for a road trip at the end of the month and looking forward to see what a good hwy run will bring! Its already a lot better on gas than my old Suzuki Grand Vitara was! It sucked it back big time!

lol I am telling you,,, your numbers are better than my Honda CRV 2008... this time of the year with 60/40, I am above that  I did not even reached 11.3 on the first few thanks... remember doing montreal-toronto in octobter (not winter),,, and hit above 12l/100km.. and this... only nice highway.... I was chocked and upset back then. now, it is around 8 for the same

We have just over 3000 miles and have averaged reoughly 18mpg. Most the miles have been highway and running about 75mph.
Wow I'd expect better mpg on the highway.... Lots of hills?

I posted this on another thread, but it's more relevant here:

I have 2,400 km on the clock now, since we took our first long road trip in the KL about 10 days ago - Edmonton down to the border and back again to complete our permanent residency application, about a 1200 km roundtrip.

The 'kee (V6 North w/towing package) behaved very nicely - quiet, smooth, comfortable to the extent that when we pulled up in Coutts 6 hours after we set off, neither of us were at all stiff or sore.

We got about 9.6 l/100km cruising at about 120 km/hr on the way down, mostly in 8th and occasionally 9th on some downhill sections. That crept up to 10.5 l/100km on the way home but we had a bit of a headwind that day (and I did do a quick 'high speed test' on a clear straight section - she goes past 160 km/hr with ease, didn't like to push it any harder than that!).

I did notice on the way back the transmission seemed to hold 7th a lot when it might have been in 8th, I found accelerating a little bit and then letting the car settle back down to the cruise control speed would often make it shift up.

I still have less than 8oo kms on mine and also have a heavy foot leaving stop lights - so total average to date with this cold winter and lots of driving in snow mode is not representative of how good actual mileage can be.

I did make one small road trip using cruise control set to 80 kmph (50mph) and did record mileage below 9L/100km so I know the TH can do it - just depend on how heavy the foot is and outside conditions.
