Is this the piece you're after? Looks like if the bumper cover is still OK, it's a matter of popping out the old and replacing with new...kinda steep though!
Yeah that’s it, there just doesn’t seem to be a good way to get to some of the clips to pop it off. Rock auto had it for $165, still so much money for a piece of plastic though.
At least I am not the only one running into trees.
I did the very same thing. Let my body shop fix it. $1053.83. Didn't report it to my insurance company.

Actually that is a great idea.
Put a vertical bamboo pole on each corner so I can tell when I am getting close to a tree.
Just need to figure out how to mount it.
