'14 CH TH (no warranties)
Instrument panel & dash start flashing while I'm driving. The exterior lights flash & flicker while it's parked, not running, no one in or near it & key fob hanging so that the buttons aren't able to be pushed. The Jeep is reading the battery level at 13.7, which is normal. Can anyone help with this? I'm aware that it's very likely to be 2 different issues.

That is not normal for my 2014 V6 TH.
If I put the ignition in RUN and do NOT start the engine and go to the EVIC screen for information my battery reads 11.6 volts which is below normal, it should read 12.0 or 12.1 volts. And I just charged the battery 3 days ago.
With the engine running the EVIC voltage reads 14.2 volts which is alternator voltage and not the battery voltage.
As per usual you need a good battery test with a tester that provides a printout of the results.
Make sure the battery cable clamps are attached securely, try really hard to twist them with your hand, they should not move.
The battery ground cable may be corroded where it attaches to the car body. This is becoming a known issue.
I think you can see it if you pull the left front wheel liner out of the way, I don't know for sure.
Probably your Check Engine light is NOT illuminated.
Your usual mechanic should be able to check the ground connection. All he has to do is look for corrosion and make sure it is fastened tightly.
Let me know what you find so I can check my TH.

About three years ago, I was told 13-14 was normal. Anything below that was something to worry about, so I don't know. I won't be able to do it today or possibly this weekend at all. I will let you know what I find out though. Thank so much for your help! Happy St. Patty's Day!

Thank you! Went out to my TH so I could get the voltage information and my X2 Power battery is down to 50% charge after charging it only 3 days ago. It is taking 2 hours to get it charged back up again. If it is 60% charged it only takes about 10 minutes. If I had waited a few more days my battery may have been almost dead. The battery is 4 1/2 years old and has a 5 Year Guarantee, it might not make it. If you can, charge your battery, if it won't take a charge it is definitely bad. I tried to see where the negative battery cable goes, seems to go down into oblivion someplace. Might have to remove the battery to get a better look. Good luck. Think we are going to need a lot of it.

At 3 years, good chance its the battery. The running voltage isn't an indication of battery health though. It will range from like 13.6ish to 14.4ish due to temperature. The colder outside, the higher the running voltage. A load test should tell you exactly how good the battery is.

I told Sanghill wrong, it's actually 13.9 & goes up to 14.1 that I've seen at least. Thanks for the info, I'll get it checked out. I appreciate y'all's help!

I have had these issues before... I know that you think 13.9 is ok, but mine usually is at 14.5 and I have had to replace my battery every 3 years since 2014 and you just described the symptoms that show up a few days before going full dead.... Say "wrong" all you want, but a new battery will fix it.
