Took the Jeep in for an oil change, and had them look at the passenger
door lock. Power lock on the door hasn't worked it over a month. When
they did the multi-point inspection they found the RR drive shaft slinging
grease. They said the shaft is covered under the drive train warranty,
but the actuator on the door was not. Just under 45k, and first $100
deductible.

I can see lights and stuff not being covered, but I'd think the power
lock would be covered??? No?

I would also think the power door lock would be covered. The way your post is written, it sounds like the door is covered under the MaxCare and you are paying the $100 deductible. Hope it works out

I'll just chalk it up as I'm getting a new axle, and the actuator is $150-$200.

The door actuators would be covered under your 3/36 warranty. Drive train goes to 60k(?) that’s why one was covered zero deductible and one was not. Even if both were covered under the MaxCare warranty, you only pay 1 $100 deductible....

True,, I had Maxcare (not lifetime) on the old Commander. I'd wait for
multiple small things to go wrong, then take it in for $100. The drive
train is 5/60k. She will reach 60k long before 5 years. Still PTU blows,
$100.... I like that my warranty is good after I'm long and gone. LOL
